Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Beko DE2542FW

Hello,
on many websites this dishwasher is given as 85 cm heigh, is it really 84?-
We removed the detachable worktop in order to fit it under the draining board and it's actually 83cm.
-
-
Which programs automatically dry the dishes and which ones do not have drying as an option?
-
Automatically dry no3 & 4 not sure of 5 as not used it.
as i remember 1.2 quick wash -
Sorry for the delay, my mother has informed that she uses program number 3 which she finds washes and dries adequently, hope this helps you.
-
-
Is the dial retracterble and is it noisy
-
The dial is not retractable and the machine is not particulary noisy - you get the usual 'swishing water' noise but this model is quieter than the one I had previously.
-
-
What size dinner plate will it accomodate? One of the reviews says that over 10 inches diam. is too big and my plates seem to be just over that size.
-
Ours are 10.25", it looks as if it will take 1/8" more than this but I haven't got any that size to try
-
My dinner plates are Denby at just over 10ins and providing I have the upper tray raised it's no problem, hope this helps
-
-
CAN I USE QUANTUM FINISH POWER BALL
-
I have not used that one, but have used Fairy dishwasher tablet "All in One" - it works fine.
-
-
How long does the quick wash take and does it dry the dishes?
-
I am sorry but I cannot give you an answer because I have never used quick wash. I only use the standard wash, and I find it quite quick by comparison to my old machine, but unfortunately I've never timed it.
-
-
Does the depth dimension of 60cm include space for hoses or should I add extra space on for these?
-
hi most work tops are 600 mm so may not fit as flush as you would like , mine stands proud but only by 20 mm but it would go back another 10mm (did not risk kinking the flexi pipes ) hope this helps
-
-
The depth of the dishwasher is stated as 598mm, does this include the drainage pipes? The depth of my work surface is only 600mm so if the drainage pipes are at the back and in addition to this measurement, then it will stick out too far.
-
Hi Rachel
My dishwasher is under a 600mm work surface. It does protrude about 2cm plus the dial knob. In my kitchen this is no problem at all. If you are likely to keep catching yourself on the knob as you pass, then it might not work for you.
As far as looks is concerned; it looks just fine. Hope this helps.
-
-
How long does the standard wash take
-
about a hour on standard and an hour and half on intensive , good little washer but does not always dry plastics fully
-
OUR MACHINE TAKES JUST OVER AN HOUR ON SETTING 4
-
-
Please can you confirm that the top rack can be moved up to a high setting to enable large Denby dinner plates to fit in the bottom rack?
-
Well i have looked and does not appear to me that it can be moved
-
Agree with Mary (above). However, I have found that by putting 2 large dinner plates at each end of the rear rack, the rotor arm does not touch the plates and moves easily, washing them well. so this is what I do. May work for more than 2 at each end, have not needed to try it. Find also that long spoons cannot be put into cutlery rack but need to be laid down.
