I am a fan of Apple design. I bought the magic mouse as a replacement for the mighty mouse which had one serious flaw. The roller ball on top of the mouse allowed easy scrolling, however it was prone to dust and bits jamming the roller ball action. The magic mouse cannot have that problem. I very soon got used to the scrolling action - which in itself is an improvement on the mighty mouse. In addition it has done away with a bit of cable on my already cluttered desk.
I like it! - Bad points:

- Apple. Brilliant once set up.
- Bad points:
- Not 'Plug and Play'. No instructions. Took some while to set up for full functionality; need to download drivers, else it behaves like a conventional mouse. Rather expensive, but then what Apple isn't.

YES, IF YOU ARE USED TO USING THE TRACK PAD, IF NOT, THEN THE MOUSE IS BRILLIANT. SO COMPACT AND EASY TO TRAVEL WITH. I'M IN THAILAND AT THE MO AND MY MOUSE CAME WITH ME AS NO BOTHER TO CARRY. GOOD LUCK MORNA.
