Hi. Please can you advise of the internal dimensions of the two shelves please? I would like to know if my system will fit in the lower section.

tte lower section has 2 side sections for dvds etc & the middle bit is height 8inches depth 17inches &width 17inches.i hope this helps

We are looking at this stand to keep our DVD & virgin box 's out of reach of our toddler sons.
Would be interested in hearing from someone else on the same situation.

This stand is a relatively inexpensive stand which is quite well built and, I would say, good value for money. If you are a reasonably competent DIYer I would suggest a minor modification to make the door open upwards - not quite so convenient for adults but much more toddler proof - as otherwise a relatively light touch at the top of the door allows it to fall open. There would of cours be other ways to "lock" the door but as you will know toddlers are remarkably able to overcome such measures.

We have a sky box which I've just put on the top shelf as toddlers won't be able to damage it I was a bit more concerned with my xbox because thay can open the disk drawer and put things into it other than disks. The tv stand drawer isn't very strong but if you just add a safety catch which you can buy from mothercare or anywhere else they shouldn't be able to get to it.

Not sure what you want to know as you have said your TV corner place is only 9cm!
The dimensions of the unit are 80cm wide x 44 cm high x 45.5 cm deep.
