- Good points:
- It's very compact and easy to set up, literally minutes. Also very portable so you can take it away with you, or move to where your speakers are if you want to play music on your PC via home speakers. Purchasers must remember that everything on your network goes at the speed of the slowest connected device - often a smart phone - so turn the phone's wi-fi off when you don't need it or set up a separate network.
- Bad points:
- Frequently disconnects itself from the network as if out of range - but that's wireless for you - and it does reconnect itself. Also I'm not convinced it really does extend the range of my wireless network as much as it's cracked up to.

- Good points:
- Bought this to stream music from my Mac & Ipod Touch to my stereo. Easy to set up and link to your existing network. The sound quality is good and the product is small and discrete. Highly Recommended.
- Bad points:
- Doesn't come with the lead to connect to your stereo, but that's it.

- Good points:
- Dead easy to set up. No delay in sending music across wi-fi network. Excellent sound quality. Works beautifully with Remote app on iPhone/iPod
- Bad points:
- None as far as I can see. Might not be as good without the remote app.

Manufacturer's Description
Here’s a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Airport Express Base Station 802.11n
-
my daughter has an ipad 2 but not 3G, would the airport express be suitable to create a wireless network in her uni accommodation to enable her to use the ipad?
-
I use my AE to extend my network upstairs - like a booster - and downstairs i use it to play the music on my laptop through my stereo. I think she may have to ask the technical folk at Uni as normally students use the uni network rather than pay for their own with a service provider. Hope this helps!
