Good points:
The battery life is excellent, lightweight,I like the keyboard layout and shortcut keys.
Bad points:
The touchpad scroll is overcomplicated making it too easy to perform back function and forward function accidentally. Processor is a little slow but is good enough for what iI use it for.

Good points:
I bought this laptop for my daughter who has just started University. This laptop was chosen because of its price (student discounted), long battery life and size, oh and its capacity.
Bad points:
None to my knowledge. She's happy with it.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Its slim, sleek and lightweight. I like the flat, seemingly floating, psuedo cut-out keys. Incredible battery life!
Bad points:
My only realistic gripe is that its not powerful enough. It handles day to day office activities and internet browsing absolutely fine and flawlessly but you start getting blips when pushing it a little bit further, e.g. when watching a film on half screen while browsing the internet on the other side. If the processor in this laptop was a bit better it really would be an amazing laptop.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good bright display, fairly compact and light, good battery life, everything has worked well from the off, no hardware or software issues to resolve in nearly 4 months of use.
Bad points:
The angle between screen and base is limited to about 120 degrees, I find this too restrictive.

Confirmed purchaser Often on the move

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Low weight, long battery life, low temperature, nice keyboard.

Bad points:
The fan is constantly on, even when the temperature is very low and the system is idle. This often makes it the loudest laptop in a room.

The screen does not open back far enough.

While the battery life is good, I don't get 8 hours of ordinary usage (web surfing, document editing, medium screen brightness).

For reference, I previously owned an old Thinkpad T42 (with which I was very happy).

Notes: (1) Beware the low performance, the reflective screen, and the horrible speakers; I was ready for these things so they did not surprise me. (2) Mine is going back to Acer for repair (after less than a month) because of occasional failure to boot.
