I love this lens, great images, allows enough distance for close up shots of timid creatures and a lovely Bokeh in background of macro floral images.
No hesitation of recommending to others - I have owned this lens for about 3 years now and I am just looking around for a smaller focal length Macro lens as well! - Bad points:
- Only slight niggle is the lens hood which feels like it should screw on tighter so it would be easy to cause wear on the fixing

- Good points:
- Feels nice to use, very smooth focus ring. very easy to focus limit thanks to large and sensibly sited switch. Also doubles as useful portrait lens.
- Bad points:
- Auto focus may hunt when using hand held at wide end. Works better when tripod mounted or in manual focus mode.

- A COMPACT FLASH CARD AS MEMORY OPPOSED TO A DUAL MEMORY SUCH AS COMPACT FLASH AND S D CARDS LIKE THE OLYMPUS RANGE HOWEVER I WOULD NOW ONLY USE SONY
